Monday Madness . . .

Posted on 07:24 by Unknown
Because of my lack of regular updates I've decided to do something new with my blog. I spent about an hour brainstorming yesterday, and came up with this idea. I've developed a schedule of topics for three days a week.

Monday Madness - Every monday I'll post something that I think is inspirational. Be it a quote, video, a few thoughts to ponder, etc. We all want to get our week started off right, and this will be the place to do it.

Wednesdays - From here on out they shall be called Mid-Week Madness - On this day each week I'll be posting something creative. It may be something of my creation or someone else's. This week I have a nice short story for you. I think you'll find it quite pleasurable.

Friday - or Freaky Fridays - At the end of each week I've decided to post something funny. Probably videos that will tickle your funny bone just right. If we get our week off to a good start there's no reason we should end the work week on a bad one. I mean Fridays will be the beginning of our weekend, and no one wants it to suck right away.

(On a side note. I will continue to post regular movie review and my Top 5 for 2010. I didn't get to see The Bounty Hunter like I wanted to. For sure I'll be seeing How To Train Your Dragon at some point this weekend. In Imax 3D, yo!)

Now, for to get this Maddening Monday off on the right foot I have a quote from one of my favorite writers. She's probably the greatest female Sci-Fi/Fantasy writer, ever. She blazed a trail into this genre when it was dominated by men. Her stories are sharp and creative. Also, her prose is so good you'll want to lick the words off the page. Ursula Le Guin is a woman to be admired. This quote is one of my most favorites . . .

"Love does not just sit there, like a stone; it had to be made, like bread, remade all the time, made new."

Before you leave here to go about your day. I would like to welcome a new member to the Madhouse. Griffin Wright, welcome. The Madhouse has grown by one. You can go and read his blog by clicking on these words *Thoughts of an Old Soul Living in the 21st Century* Do me a favor, don't cheat yourself out of the experience.

Until next time,

Adios and vaya con dios
